History of BridgeMill
In May 1996, Jefferson Development Company and The Johnson Companies, the principal venture partners of Atlanta's highly successful Towne Lake, formed a new joint venture to develop BridgeMill. The BridgeMill joint venture is managed and directed by three key principals, Larry D. Johnson, Charles L. Pence and B. Brett Blevins. Together, these professionals bring over 90 years of combined experience in the development of master-planned communities throughout the United States, including Texas, Georgia, Florida and California.
BridgeMill Improves Sixes Road
As part of their commitment to the managed growth of Cherokee County, the Developer of BridgeMill funded and managed the $5 million improvement of Sixes Road, minimizing the extreme curves and radical topography of Sixes Road. This extensive improvement program made Sixes Road a safer and more pleasant driveway home to BridgeMill.
